Holes, cracks and nail pops patched, texture matched, and walls painted so you cannot find the repair afterward.

Patching a hole is the easy part. Making it disappear is the job. Small dings get filled and sanded. Bigger holes, like the one a doorknob leaves behind, get a piece of new drywall screwed to backing, then taped and finished in thin coats with drying time in between. Rushing those coats is how you end up with a bump that shows every time light hits the wall from the side. Each coat is feathered out wider than the last, so its edge fades into the flat wall around it.
Then the texture has to match. Plenty of walls and ceilings are not smooth. They have an orange peel or knockdown finish, and a smooth patch in a textured wall stands out from across the room. We match the texture before any paint goes on. The patch then gets primer, because bare joint compound soaks up paint differently and shows through as a dull spot. Last, we paint the wall corner to corner, since a touch-up on one spot rarely matches paint that has aged on the wall.
Some cracks have a cause worth knowing. Nail pops are common in newer houses as the framing lumber dries and shrinks in its first years. Cracks running off the corners of doors and windows usually come from normal settling. A brown ring on the ceiling means water, and we patch it only after the leak above it is fixed. Bathrooms get a paint made to stand up to steam, which matters in a humid climate where the bath fan does not always keep up.
Not if it is done right. The patch is finished in thin coats, the texture is matched to the wall around it, and the wall is primed and painted corner to corner. Spot touch-ups are what usually give a patch away, so we avoid them.
Small patches can often be finished in one visit with fast-setting compound. Larger repairs need drying time between coats, so texture and paint may take a short second visit. We tell you which it will be before we start.
Yes, once the leak itself is fixed. If the drywall is still firm, the stain gets sealed with a stain-blocking primer so it cannot bleed through, then painted. If it is soft or sagging, that section is cut out and replaced. If the leak came from the roof, we handle small roof repairs too.
Just about anything on the honey-do list. Repairs, drywall, trim carpentry, mounting, doors, fixtures, and outdoor assembly like basketball hoops. If you're not sure, just ask.
