Leaks, missing shingles, cracked pipe boots and loose flashing fixed before a small drip turns into a ceiling stain.

Most leaks on a shingle roof start in the same few places, and they are rarely in the middle of a slope. The rubber boot around a plumbing vent pipe cracks after years of sun. Step flashing pulls loose where a roof meets a wall. The flashing around a chimney lets go at its seams. Wind lifts a shingle tab, breaks its seal, and the next storm tears it off. Each of those is a repair, not a reason for a new roof.
A good repair lasts as long as the roof around it. Missing shingles are replaced by sliding new ones under the course above, nailing them where the nails will be covered, and sealing the tabs down. Cracked pipe boots get replaced, not smeared with sealant that will crack again in a summer or two. Loose flashing is re-set and tucked under the shingles where it belongs, not just caulked on top. Nails that have popped up get pulled and the holes sealed.
To be clear about scope: we repair roofs, we do not replace them. If your roof is worn out across the whole surface, with curling shingles, bare spots and leaks that keep moving, more patching will not fix it, and we will tell you that straight. Short of that, a timely repair is worth doing. A house built in the early 2000s that still has its first roof is now at the age when boots and flashing start to give.
No. We do repairs only: leaks, missing shingles, pipe boots and flashing. If a roof is worn out across the whole surface, we will say so plainly, and you will need a roofing company for the replacement. We would rather tell you that than sell you patches that will not hold.
Take a photo and mark its edge with a pencil, so you can tell if it grows after the next rain. Then call or text us. We find where the water is getting in and fix that first, and once the area dries we can patch and repaint the ceiling as well.
Usually close. We match the brand and color when they can be found. Shingles fade in the sun, so new ones on an older roof may look a shade different up close. From the street, a well-placed repair is rarely noticed.
